We purchased our Jordan home in Triple Lakes in 2006. We recently contracted with Todd to construct an addition to our outdoor living area. His construction crew arrived on time, met their deadlines and were available to discuss and implement modifications to the plan. Average 30-year fixed rates are headed toward, or below, 4.75%, compared with 5.1% in a recent Freddie Mac survey, TonyCrescenzi, chief bond market strategist at Miller Tabak & Co., said in a client note.

The 30-year fixed rate mortgage has not been lower since Freddie Mac started conducting the survey in 1971.

According to Frank Nothaft, Freddie Mac vice president and chief economist.

"Since the end of October 2008, these rates have declined by almost 1 1/2 percentage points," said Nothaft. "[That's a] payment savings of about $184 a month for a $200,000 loan - an additional $11 from last week."
